ChildFund Cambodia is the representative office of ChildFund Australia- an independent international development organization that works to reduce poverty for children in developing communities.
ChildFund Australia is a member of the ChildFund Alliance a global network of 11 organisations which assist almost 36 million children and their families in over 70 countries. ChildFund Australia is a registered charity, a member of the Australian Council for International Development of Foreign Affair and Trade which manage the Australian Government’s overseas aid program.
ChildFund Cambodia began working in Cambodia in 2007 and works in partnership to create community and systems change which enables vulnerable children and young people, in all their diversity, to assert and realise their rights. Our works focus on child protection which builds resilience and community-based child protection mechanism, inclusive education and youth empowerment. ChildFund Cambodia is also working to strengthen the government’s policy frameworks to improve early grade reading performance through technology intervention and improved school governance. Our works also aim to promote child online safety to ensure that children are safe in all settings.
ChildFund Cambodia implements its programs in partnership with national civil society organizations, and in collaboration with relevant ministries and government departments.
