PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Sponsor Relations Officer (SRO)-District is directly responsible to manage and coordinate K/VVs to ensure effective sponsorship management and complied with the SOP of CFA & CFI. SRO-District ensure the Village Volunteers of the assigned areas to better understand and confidently, apply the well manage sponsorship service operations, and better engage children, their families and communities in sponsorship.

 

KEY DUTIES

  • Ensure sponsorship information and correspondences are processed and sent to sponsors within timeframe and with quality;
  • Coordinate K/VVs to collect Child Progress Report and work closely with them to ensure regular child case management is handled properly and reported timely (child incident, child move out etc.…..);
  • Quality check and review for all correspondences and CPR before sending to Country Office;
  • Conduct spot check on monitoring reports, child’s files, and child’s correspondences;
  • Coordinate and assist in new child enrolment process as requested and as planned;
  • Work closely with freelance translators related to translation issues and ensure the quality is acceptable;
  • Coordinate and accommodate all sponsor visits and submit the visit report;
  • Ensure sponsors, sponsored children and families and communities understand about phasing in/out procedure;
  • Ensure Farewell Letters (phase out and natural departure) are completed in high quality and sent to the CO within agreed timeframe
  • Support SRC to study on sponsorship effectiveness to enhance engagement of enrolled children and families in community;
  • Report and update SRC of Sponsorship NGO working in the same area to avoid duplication;
  • Conducted Refresher training to new and existing K/VVs to strengthen their capacity on correspondence and data quality;
  • Build good relationship with all enrolled children, families, communities and other key actors to improve sponsorship product;
  • Participate in external workshops and other meetings relevant to child-focused and sponsorship activities as requested;
  • Perform other duties as advised by line supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in social development or other related field;
  • Two year experiences with sponsorship work;
  • Experience in facilitating meeting, workshop and training ;
  • Develop work plans, monitor and evaluate the activities under the sponsorship section;
  • Familiar with professional database and system development focused;
